HISTORY

Alma had her powers from birth; early on she discovered that she could change technologies when the TV at home was tipped off the stand it was on when a superhero was fighting nearby. The TV fell down onto Alma, but instead of doing any lasting damage it changed into a pile of nuts and bolts when it made contact. Her parents, not wanting to raise a meta-human, almost immediately put her in an orphanage for the "gifted".The time spent in this orphanage wasn't exactly great. In her time there Alma learned to fend for herself, and while she didn't get a proper education she had used her powers to make a phone out of collected bits and pieces of other materials. Using this and the internet she taught herself various hacking skills and by the time she was 15 she was already making money scamming others on the internet.Now that she's an adult she was kicked out of her abusive household, set into the world to live life in the shadows among other criminals and crooks. After all, playing the good guy would just be boring at this point.

ABILITIES

- S-tier hacker, as she puts it. (Think Watch_Dogs)
- Decent enough at hand to hand combat to maybe win a brawl, but she's far from an expert.
- She's a quick thinker and has a creative mind.

POWERS

- She's a technomancer. Anything that one could consider technology can be manipulated by Tekno. She'll turn a car into a bazooka, a phone into a knife, weapons that take on properties of their original purpose. A fridge, for example, would become a sword with an ice effect. Changed items take on a unique purple-black-ish appearance, making it all too clear it was Tekno who's been around. She is limited to a certain degree; she can't make more than what material she has to work with.
- These rules do not apply to her wrist mounted bracelets. They are made from a unique material and can be turned into a small laser pistol that she can then turn back into the bracelets. But they are limited to two simple transformations: that pistol and a wrist mounted laser blade.
- Tekno can, quite literally, surf the web. Able to digitize herself, she's more than once made her escape through someone's smartphone. Isn't it convenient how every has a computer in their pocket nowadays?
